Powerflex Upgraded Polyurethane Suspension Bushings for BMW E81, E82, E87, and E88 1 Series NON-M and NON-X Drive Models.

Over time, OEM rubber bushings wear from constant movement, heat, and exposure to road debris. This wear and tear can lead to increased play in the suspension components, affecting handling performance and ride quality. Symptoms of worn bushings include increased body roll during cornering, excessive vibration and noise over bumps, and less precise steering feel. 

Powerflex bushings not only boast a Lifetime Warranty, but they are also made from polyurethane, which has improved performance and durability qualities over OEM rubber. Over time, polyurethane is less susceptible to the wear and tear of rubber bushings and is resistant to abrasion, tearing, and degradation from oil, grease, and other chemicals encountered on the road.

Notes:

  • Please confirm sway bar diameter before ordering any anti-roll bar bushings
  • These bushings will NOT fit the E82 1 Series M Coupe or X Drive models
  • PFR5-419 and PFR5-421 are inserts to be used ONLY with the original bushings (location 19 and 20)
  • PFR5-421 Rear Subframe Rear Bush Insert fits all models up to -07/2005 (pre-LCI). Then Petrol models only from 07/2005- on (LCI)
  • PFR5-423 Rear Subframe Rear Bush Inserts fit Diesel cars from 07/2005- onwards (LCI)
  • PFR5-420 and PFR5-422 are complete bushings and COMPLETELY replace the original bushings (location 19 and 20)
  • EURO MODELS: PFR5-421 Insert fits all models up to 07/2005, then Automatic models only from 07/2005+
  • EURO MODELS: PFR5-423 Insert fits manual models 07/2005+
  • PFR5-416 fits standard shock absorbers and performance shock absorbers with a 10mm thread
  • PFR5-416-12 fits performance shock absorbers with a 12mm thread
  • PFF5-4020 only fits cars with the N54
  • PFR5-1220 is a complete replacement bush for non-M models to raise the front of the rear subframe by 9mm providing the same anti-squat characteristic during acceleration as featured on M model vehicles and is recommended to be used with PFR5-422P
