Battery water is commonly used to refill lead-acid batteries to lengthen the battery life as well as to improve performance and efficiency.
Battery water has gone through a deionized process to remove metals and minerals so that it does not contain impurities which will impact the battery’s lifespan. Using tap water to refill a lead-acid battery will shorten the battery’s lifespan.
